OFFICIAL DESERT WINDS TRAILER BELOW

Foilers Andrew Readhead, Jon Donisi, Julian Bradley and Hugh Mitchell take on a downwind foil mission from Red Bluff to Mildura Wreck, covering over 300 km of a remote desert coastline in North Western Australia. With no access to cell reception, no boat support and carrying all their food and water on their backs, the boys find themselves as far as 12km out to sea. James Bennett and Jarvis Banfield join them for the expedition, scoring world-class waves and fishing on pristine sand beaches. This film dives into the good, the bad and the beauty of this life-changing expedition, taking you every step of the way. Are you ready for the adventure?

The Australian tour

10 Film Screenings, 6 states and a whole lot of stoke!
"I’ve only got 6 hours of foiling under my belt foiling but the movie is very inspiring. Loved how natural everyone was, with plenty of laughs and great effort with the editing. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I just want to know if there is a way to purchase. (There is now Julian!)

- Julian King

"This film is a must-see. A real-life adventure story involving six mates and Mother Nature. The raw beauty of the wild West Australian coast is on full display for all to see. Backed by a cracking soundtrack and brilliant videography from the foilers themselves, you're drawn into their experience and feel the enormity of the challenge the boys put to themselves with every rolling wave (and shark!). Lots of incredible footage, great humour from the surfing fishing support crew and just all-around great fun. We can't wait to see what they do next."

- Venessa McCall

"I loved everything about the movie! I was gripped from the moment it started to the very end!! I felt every part of the adventure and just made me want to DW SUP foil even more! Well done to the guys and Hugh for capturing such an epic journey!"

- Claire May
