The Foil Project Presents

Desert winds - Downwind Foiling the Ningaloo

A 47-minute film that takes you along for the journey of becoming the first people to Downwind Foil the entire Ningaloo reef, 300km of remote coastline and adventure.
After completing The Australian Tour with 10 screenings in 6 states:  Desert Winds is available online now!

47 minutes of adventure you won't regret!

Foilers Andrew Readhead, Jon Donisi, Julian Bradley and Hugh Mitchell take on a downwind foil mission from Red Bluff to Mildura Wreck, covering over 300 km of a remote desert coastline in North Western Australia. With no access to cell reception, no boat support and carrying all their food and water on their backs, the boys find themselves as far as 12km out to sea. James Bennett and Jarvis Banfield join them for the expedition, scoring world-class waves and fishing on pristine sand beaches. This film dives into the good, the bad and the beauty of this life-changing expedition, taking you every step of the way. Are you ready for the adventure?
